Hi. I don't have any pods - of any kind whatsoever - but I noticed you've got a Master's Degree in Applied Psychology, so I have a question for you regarding that, if that's ok with you and I know how you're probably going to ignore this, but I'm going to ask you anyway because I'm serious and in dire need of some professional advice.

Recently, a guy - at least I think he's a guy because he calls himself Dr Dog Chop [??] - from the UK emailed me and wrote words to the effect of, 'I really like your writing style. Maybe we can get together for a tag-team rant about things you're writing about.'

Since I didn't really think much about it at the time, I said it sounded like a good idea because it really did. I figured I'd reduce my time blogging and ranting by 50% and we'd hopefully hit it off. I think we have but I think our relationship is taking a turn for the worse.

I was semi right with my initial assumption, in the sense that I reduced my blogging/ranting time by 50% but I now get the distinct feeling that this Dr really wanted to join my blog/rant because he has ulterior motives.

I was wondering if you could read the most recent entry on my blog titled 'Anger Management 101' - it'll only take about 3-5 minutes - and see if you can make an informed analysis of what's going on, as he won't stop emailing me about things that have nothing to do with what I usually write about and everything to do with my own personal vital statistics, if you know what I mean? :(

I'm a bit worried and don't know where to turn and my regular girlfriend is getting weird about the amount of times he writes to me. So, any advice you may have will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much for listening and sorry about this long winded comment. I hope that it's OK. I apologise for the intrusion. Thank you.

Well, with a comment like yours, I guess it's tough to ignore it. :)

Unfortunately, having a masters degree in psychology does not enable me to analyse situations such as yours with certainty. I have to know more about the events, the personalities, etc. And since that's not possible, it is only ethical for me to decline commenting on this.

In any case, if you continue to have problems with this person, I suggest that you discuss it with him --- or seek help from someone who may be able to assess the situation a lot better.

I wish you well. And, I hope you manage to sort this out.
